Remember Corey Haim?

You perhaps know him as Teri Garr’s youngest son Brian, in 1984’s Firstborn.

Maybe you remember him hunting werewolves in Silver Bullet, or later on, as that adorable nerd Lucas.

You will no doubt remember Corey fighting for truth, justice and the American way as Dianne Wiest’s son in cult vampire flick The Lost Boys.

…..Or as Corey Feldman’s best friend in License to Drive.

More recently he played ‘Corey Haim’ in his own TV show, The Two Corey’s and you can see Corey’s last completed leading role as determined husband of kidnapped Angela Cullins in the 2009 movie American Sunset.

Shortly before complications of pneumonia took his life on March 10 2010, Corey spoke of his wish to be honoured with a Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. According to co-star and best friend, Corey Feldman, this was also an idea that they worked on together for an episode of the Two Coreys, which would see them competing against each other for a star.
But, as Feldman posted on twitter regarding the effort for his friend, “Now it’s his time!”.

Our campaign is represented by Screenwriters of forthcoming Corey Feldman movie, 6 Degrees of Hell, who are arranging a benefit screening of 6 Degrees of Hell to help raise funds for the cost of a star. Their recent blog below touches on why they became involved in our efforts.

Also American Sunset production company Global Universal gave us a massive boost by supporting this campaign. You can purchase a copy of American Sunset at www.coreyhaimremembered.com where a percentage of your money will be donated towards the fee for his star.

Efforts on this cause include laying the groundwork for attempting to have the 5 year posthumous rule relaxed for Corey and we remain positive on this front.

Additionally, an Indiegogo fundraiser has been personally endorsed
by Judy Haim, leaving 60 days to raise the $40,000 contingency
fund. This will allow fans, friends, family and colleagues to
donate directly in Corey’s honour offering perks such as a Star
Photo taken at the ceremony or having the donator’s name read aloud
